Peer Mentor Program
The Peer Mentor Program brings the AN community together, providing needed support and opportunities to help one another through personal connections. Peer Mentors are acoustic neuroma patients and family members/caregivers who are willing to talk about their acoustic neuroma experience. These volunteers provide information, encouragement, and support to other acoustic neuroma patients via telephone, email and videochat . Peer Mentors may also host virtual support group meetings.
Peer Mentor volunteers are located across the U.S. and represent a wide range of experiences representing all treatment types, a variety of tumor sizes and talking points on many acoustic neuroma related treatment issues.
We encourage you to take advantage of this important resource. Contact us to find a peer match today, we’ll help connect you with new friends who truly understand the AN experience.
If you are new to the ANA and would like to request our free patient kit which includes a list of Peer Mentors, please submit your request below. We are happy to provide the patient kit to any pre- or post-treatment acoustic neuroma patient, family member or friend.
