My Story, presented by Mary Green, ANA Peer Mentor and post-treatment acoustic neuroma patient.
Mary had surgery for a large tumor and will share her story of recovery while facing many post-treatment issues. Through much adversity, Mary will share a message of advocacy, strength, endurance and encouragement.
Virtual support groups provide a nurturing environment for individuals to share information on acoustic neuroma, educational opportunities for patients and caregivers, and support for peers on their AN journey. Meetings are open to family members, caregivers, friends and interested persons.
The meeting will be facilitated by Judy Jones, a post-treatment acoustic neuroma patient.
