Hello gang.
 
Just set my wife, Isabel, up with her own account (this one).  She will provide updates on my surgery/recovery as she is able.

Right ear tinnitus w/80% hearing loss 1985.
Left ear 40% hearing loss 8/07.
1.5 CM Translab Rt ear.
Sort of quiet around here.

Hi everyone....thanks for all your support for Ernie. Hi is now in ICU till tom. morning...surgery went well, had to remove hearing nerve.  Tomorrow the sugeon want me to make sure he gets up and walking....will let everyone know how he does.

Glad to hear Ernie is doing okay. Is he wearing the scarf in his hospital bed? We are so looking forward to pictures...

Hearing lasted a while, but left side is deaf now.
Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Good new!  I have a feeling Ernie will be up and about in no time!

The first day post-op....well, no way around it, it sucks, but it gets better every day!  Really.

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.
