Our staunchest supporters during this AN journey...
« on: September 15, 2006, 04:53:37 pm »
...who provide us with the biggest amount of unconditional love during this very trying time in our lives.... our pets.... so, here is my staunchest supporter, yes, Beanie, the "toot" queen, in her wedding dress at her wedding to Elvis, the "younger" pug.

and yes, she will be wearing this during Cheeky Bloke's and my speshal day!  She is the true bride.. he's only marrying me to get to her.

Who are your staunchest supporters during your AN journey (besides all of us here)?

Phyll,
My girls went wild over this darling little bride.
We have an all white American Eskimo/golden retreiver mix little girls who has a friend who lives across the street. He is all balck with a white patch on his chest. My girls decided they needed to get married and that they wouldn't need a wedding dress or tux cuz they are already wearing them.  My alaskan malimute of 16 years had to be put down 2 weeks after my AN surgery. Should have been done sooner but I just couldn't deal with that at that time. Our new little girl has been by my side through much of this.  What a cutie the "tootie" queen is.

This is Thing 1. (The little guy, the big one is me!) He was born in Atlanta Georgia, the night before my surgery in Los Angeles.  He really gave me a reason to wake up!  I can track my progress as he and the "new me" are the same age.  He looooooves Pirates and he is the only one in the family who I can get to play Pirates with me besides you guys!!!

PS he looooves choccie, too! Notice the color of the cake!

Just wait Deb,  when they hit about 11-12 yrs old, they no longer will be referred to as Thing 1@2, it'll be Teror 1@2. Of course, I have girls, it' probably worse as girls approach teenhood. I currently have one Tween (inbetween kid & teen, almost a teen, not quite there yet, but practicing real hared at the attitude)  enjoy them while they are little things, granny priate

But aside from the norm of kidhood. They are the greatest. and great supporters when you need them. But then, dogs don't talk back, something to be said for that.

Here is a picture of my baby, his name is Cosmo. He never left my side during my recovery and would always try to lick the AN side of my head, he knew his momma had an ouchie.

And he is a pirate pup ;D

I don't know how to post a pic but we got Comet 6 months after my surgery. He helped me in my recovery quite a bit. Someone new who needed me! (As if having 3 kids wasn't enough?! ;) )

Comet is a golden retriever baby. He's scared of everything and I love him to death. He has been a great little brother to our now 12 yo golden retriever Tucker.

Joef - I see Kelsey has her favorite spot on the couch with her pillows and blanket. I lost my couch to my lab Cosmo LOL

Does Kelsey like the water? Cosmo hates it!

Ok, so I really wanted to post a pic of my pup here but I have no clue!  Anyway, she's a golden retriever, presently 7 mos (alot older than in the pic by my name) and she is currently my best buddy!  My old best bud was another golden who we had to have put down earlier this year.  I miss her dearly, she was the best dog I'd ever had, but Zoey is helping to fill the void.  If I can figure out the pic thing, I have tons of pics including one of her "surfing" in the pool!
