Keri, I'm so glad you found yourself.

And now I have to say I am definitely impressed with the new website. There is a new forum just for the local meetings! I feel so special that they approved my suggestion. Soon we won't have to scroll to page 2 to see the other community threads.

Woohoo!

that was a great suggestion, sara. it will be nice when they move to their new place!
regarding the other format stuff, i can't tell that much difference. the print seems bigger, which i like. it's a bit easier for me to read, and reading the little smiley descriptions continue to crack me up. i guess i'm easily amused.
i am so happy i found my real self and that i'm even a 'hero' member!

yes, donnalynn, i've never progressed quite so fast with anything before... from newbie to senior to hero, in 5 minutes.

thank you, steve, for moving the meetings!

kay - i think one of my favorite quotes is your new quote, 'no room for my favorite quote - too long.' like i said, i'm easily amused.

Just for the record, I love Steve too.

And I have to say, without the exception of really missing the smiley faces (love those smiley faces), the new website isn't as bad as I first thought.

It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind.

And I'm happy to see the spell check button is back - or I couldn't have spelled prerogative.

The director of ANA wrote to me this afternoon and told me my username and password had been changed with the new site and I don't know why.

remember how on the old site, if you typed too much, the screen started jumping around? i haven't typed a long post on here yet, but i wonder if that has been corrected. guess i'll find out next time i ramble on about something.

Donnalynn,

above the little smiley faces are two rows of "blocks".

In the top line of "blocks", second from the right is a letter A and an arrow that points both ways.

Highlight the text you want to make bigger or smaller and click on this block.  Then edit the size=xxpt.  I just made this 15 pt.

Jan

PS - don't you just love the new icons  ???  I think they are very   8)  Especially this one  >:D

But I haven't figured out what this one is for  ^-^

What is "AZN"?  Amazed?

Hi Brenda!  Glad to see you are here!

Now here is my question...
I logged on this morning and the Forum Discussion looks very close to the old one, lots of grey like before, but a few more emoticons.

Am i dreaming or do i need to reset something?
I also use a MAC.

All is well - glad to see we are back!
