My beloved friend has passed.

I just want to let all of you know my beloved friend Susie passed yesterday at 9:40 am.  Many will remember I have mentioned her in my postings.  She fought a long courageous battle with lung cancer.  She had an infectious smile and contagious laughter.  She brightened every corner of my life.  My eldest son and her only son have been friends for almost 20 years.  I met her at my very first meet the teacher night way back in 1991.  Susie was an honourary Aunt to my sons and an extraordinary friend to me. 


My world got a little darker yesterday.

Please accept our (me and the bloke) condolences for this loss. I am SOOO sorry to hear of this as I've been following the updates, sending prayers and wishes.  May there be peace in your soul knowing just how much she loved you... and you loved her and that she will be forever with you.

I am truly, truly so so very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have not had to go thru that loss of a kindred spirit & so I can only imagine how you must feel. Thank you for sharing with us here so that we can cover you & her family in prayers. I pray that the Lord wraps Hos arms around you & you are able to feel His comforting presence in your time of grief.

Anne Marie,

I am so saddened by your loss. I know this is a hard time, but try to focus on all your wonderful memories. She lives on in your heart and in your mind.

It is so hard to let go of the ones we love.  My prayer for peace and comfort goes up for you today.

I am sorry you have lost a dear friend ... and as cheryl said , many times friends are as important as family ..

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good. 

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
