Hi Everyone,

Since nobody seemed too offended at us naming my tumor I will share the name that we picked. We went with a very simple name. We call it Tommy the Tumor. My three year old grandson overheard us laughing about this and he went to daycare and told them that his Grandma had a baby growing in her head and its name was Tommy the Tumor. My daughter made me go in and explain this whole thing to the ladies at his daycare. Once they got over the shock of hearing I have a tumor, they could not stop laughing about naming it. They did say that it was pretty sick though.

Oh, I'm in.  I named a big sebacious cyst that I used to have on the top of my head "Bob" (In fact someone actually asked me if "Bob" caused my AN!), and I've been trying to come up with a name!!!!!  That is so funny!!!!  I'm thinking Morty, since if I remember my high school French correctly, mort means death, so death to Morty the AN.   Oh, maybe that's too much of a jinx.  Would hate to get that screwed up.

Let's see now two growths...one head....I think that I would be very careful what I name anything after that. Maybe come up with the French word or words for "enough is enough already!" But then again I do like how your mind thinks...maybe great minds think alike or its the tumors...ha ha ha

Static my company is in Philly..that was my first trip to a big city by myself.  I had the hotel clerks laughing at me because I didnt' know what a city block was

Batty,  I grew up in Philly, but moved to the suburbs about 7 years ago.  Should have done that sooner.  Philly used to be a nice place, not so nice these days.  FYI, some city  blocks are much bigger than others, depends on the neighborhood.

along with "well at least" are the people who say "at least you picked a good type of tumor to have"....somehow I never considered using "tumor", "type" and "good" all in the same sentence, most of all when it comes to my brain.
