I vote for some place warm and sunny.  If the Tim Tams melt, so be it.

I think a few of us have a little too much snow right now  ;)

While we have some - about 8 or 10 inches - I'm thankful we aren't on the East coast.

Having fun, Phyl???

For those of you that aren't familiar with "the land down under" the climate gods have been rather unkind to a vast section of our country. We have endured 4 years of drought and now floods throughout a large part of our farming community.

Queensland (one of our states) has floods covering an area the size of Germany and France. Some towns are under 16 metres of water - kinda like the water world movie. Just to clarify, Australia has more land mass than the U.S.A albeit most of the inland bits are desert and usully rather warm. Most of the population live around the coast.

The chronologer will try and set the storyline going in the next few days, whilst getting used to being back at work  :( :( :(

Laz,

I thought of you last night when I was watching the news.  Hope you are high and dry!

It is shocking to see all that water covering such a huge land mass and the reporter said there was still a chance for more rain.  Unbelievable!!

Hi guys,

Thankfully the main cities (on the coast) have been spared the floods but the area involved is large.

Now for some great news. My lovely wife (Naomi) and I are having a holiday in the U.S in May. We will be in LA from the 7th to the 11th then New York until the 17th and then San Fransisco until the 21st. Unfornuately Seattle isn't part of our plans this time.

I must catch up on all the brunches happenning.
