Hi.
Lori was on my mind this morning when I woke up.  Aren't you scheduled for surgery soon?

Angie~
Her surgery is Friday (26th) - I have to double check but I think her hubby will probably e-mail Jan &/or me and we will post.  Jan'll probably get to before me as that is the day of the Big Hoedown for me.  One of us will let everyone know that everything went OK.  That may have changed but that is what Lori & I talked about last week!

There is no official link to the AN Calendar, it is not actually part of the ANA web site. You can always hunt down a post by me, since I have the link in my signature. Many of us bookmark it for easy reference, and you can always add it to your own signature to help others find it.

Lori, I hope they get the wiring straight when then hook up your jump, so you don't end up wiggling your ears every time you talk!  :o

Yeah, Lori.  We never did discuss who your scribe will be.

Can James email either K or me?

We all want to make sure you're doing well.

Aw, but Steve, I've never been able to wiggle my ears - this might be my only chance!   :D

Yes, surgery is scheduled for this Friday afternoon.  I don't think it's fair that I can't eat after midnight the night before, but I'm sure my doctor will be enjoying a nice lunch!  However, poor James will be starving along with me, because if I can't eat - he can't either!  Misery loves company!

I've already told him he is in charge of reporting back to my forum family - so if he figures out this site, it'll be that way - otherwise, he has Kay's and Jan's e-mail and phone numbers and they can be the reporters.  He offered to let me take his laptop to the hospital, but I told him I'm bringing my i-pod, my pj's and my toothbrush and that's about it.  I like to travel light.

Thanks everyone for thinking of me!  It means a lot!  Angie, I hope you weren't have a nightmare about me!   :o

You'd think I wouldn't be nervous about surgery after all this...I'm just hoping this is the last one!!

Actually Lori it was peaceful, happy thoughts. I usually don't remember events or dates very well but you popped in my head. You're surrounded by prayers.

Cheri,

I'm one of those people that can pass out after taking a baby aspirin - so I've never even made it to the counting part!!  The meds they give me to "relax" me and not put me to sleep - always put me to sleep.  I'm a cheap date!   :D

Lori, the only time I remember being asked to count was when I was four years old and having my tonsils out. They asked me to count backward from 100 and I was so bewildered. Finally they realized that I couldn't do that yet and told me to count forward. I don't think I even made it to 10.

Anyway, best wishes. I hope the jump is a complete success and you will be smiling again soon.

Land Shark is a beer promoted by Jimmy Buffett.  He might even have something to do with the manufacturing of it, but I'm not sure.

Any of my fellow Parrotheads know?
