Hi Marci,
No new tips about getting rid of your roots, just wanted to say "hi!"  and see how you were.

Yay, just got back from the hair salon. My roots are gone and we were very careful, just did highlights on the front and protected the back when we shampooed.  Also, another upside of facial numbness is that when they wax your eyebrows, it's 50% less painful.   ::)

That's what I loved about being a hairstylist - you make people feel better by doing their hair. I feel great when my hair is freshly done!
I bet you look beauuuutttttttiful Marci!!!

Brian,

Are you telling me you've never had hot wax poured on your face and the eyebrows RIPPED out?  Wow.  You haven't lived!   :D

And to think, you men complain about having to shave every day!

I think I can just go on NOT living then.  I learned long ago not to complain about shaving.  Besides, for as long as it lasts, I've been able to get away with shaving only once a week because I work for that type of company.  That will perhaps change soon which might put me back into shaving every day.  But, you won't hear a complaint coming from me!  Someone might pour hot wax on me somewhere and rip it out... *OUCH!*  I'm constantly in awe of you women.  Far be it from me to complain because I have it pretty easy compared to you folks.  (Is that enough groveling?)  ;)

A man's groveling is never done, Brian.  But it's a good start.

Brian,

You're pretty good at this.  You must get a lot of practice!   ;)

Now, keep behaving or we'll have to break out the wax!

Hi Marci-

I must confess that I haven't had my brows waxed since the boogerectomy.  Since one of them doesn't move, it didn't seem worth the effort - however, the no-pain-on-that-side thing seems almost too good to pass up so I may have to get waxed.  Kinda too bad my leg isn't numb...

Brian, great job, btw!

Well, my pain sensors seem to still work on my AN side because last time I got my eyebrows waxed, I know I felt an equal amount of excruciating pain on both sides!   :o

Has anyone ever had their eyebrows "threaded"???  I go to an Indian salon when I am in Houston where they do it.  It really cool & really cheap.  However, whenever they hit that "midpoint" where the feeling takes over, it always kind of gives me a little shock!!  LOL!!!
