Early trial for NF2 drug ?
« on: July 01, 2008, 12:50:32 am »
Yes, early days, but seems to be working
interestingly it seems to work by reducing the bodies own
repair/regrowth capability, see below

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/101465.php

The good news is that it is more or less an existing drug
so the time to launch should be shorter
Its quite a big jump from "incurable"
to possible cure in the future ?
Have a good day

This sounds promising!  Very interesting read, thanks for the info.  I'm sure there are many people on the edge of their chairs with this bit of good news!
