Put the knitting needles down and go do something fun!  You deserve the very best day possible for all you have done for others.  Wish we could all take you out for a rowdy, rambunctious meal where everyone would stare and wonder why we were all having such a hilarious time...and wish they, too, had a perky knitted hat!

                             HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO STEVE!!

Be sure to take a peek at your profile today. There should be a little slice of birthday cake for you.

Another Happy Birthday wish for my fellow moderator, Steve Gerrard

A prolific knitter of jaunty, colorful winter hats and a valuable asset to the ANA and these forums.  Best of all, Steve possesses a well-honed sense of humor enhanced by a solid grasp of irony and brevity.  I admire that because, while I have some of the former I'm still working on the latter.

Steve, I hope your day is a good one and that you're able to celebrate in a way that is meaningful to you.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Steve,
You've been noticeably absent.  I hope it's because you've had a very special day.
Tell us all about it in the morning.
The rest of us have been Boxing all day. Or at least, I have . . .  Putting away silver and washing linens.
Best wishes for another year of knitting,  ;)

I just called Steve's cell and he had no idea there was a thread... He is holidaying with family... I told him to go find an internet cafe and come to the forum to peak in...

I think I heard knitting needles in the background... ;)   :D
