Sara, wonderful news!!  I still have trouble closing the AN eye without my good eye closing too, so I think that takes time and practice.  I'm doing a happy-dance (AN style) for you!

Awesome Sara,
It is like little ones getting excited about riding a bike without training wheels for the first time. Who would ever know that we would be sooooooooooo excited to blink and close our eyes. Boy...things we took for granted for all these years. Helps put things into perspective, huh? So glad for you sweetie. I know exactly how you feel as I am closing my eye better but my blink is still delayed/slower than my good side. Guess it gets stronger and faster over time.

Sara ~

We always celebrate any ANers accomplishment, no matter how 'small' it might seem to others.  Your ability to partially close one eye is no exception.  Congratulations...and keep pushing!  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

That is exciting Sara. Okay so just so I can try this... is your good eye closed half way as well? Are you looking straight ahead and just closing your AN side eye and the other is staying completely open.
I want to try.
