Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday, #35.  I *was* celebrating anniversaries of my 29th, but this year decided that in light of what I've been through and in gratitude to still being around, I should start celebrating the real deal again.   ;)

Anyway, I got the awesomest, greatest, wonderfulest <grin> present ever.  When I was putting on my make-up this morning and smiling at myself in the mirror, I noticed that the corner of my mouth is moving up into a smile ever so slightly.  WOOHOO!!

I was already on Cloud 9 about the new horse I bought last week (which will be coming home tomorrow) but this is even better!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to you!  Age is just a number and 35 is a relatively small one, at that.  May this be your best year, yet!  :)

3 more surgeries related to staph infections & osteomylitis over next 13 months.  New diagnosis of breast cancer.  Treatment completed 08/27/10.  Moving on!!!

My mom was 29 only once, but she was 39 for quite a few years, as I recall.  ;)

Cloud Nine sounds like the name of a horse in the Kentucky Derby. What a great birthday present; no wonder you are smiling.

What is your horse's name?

Keep moving those mouth muscles and look at yourself in the mirror while you are lifting that corner of the mouth.
