Now just you hang on a darn-tootin' minute. Terwen't never no talk about bailin' off the PBW-just more along the rope as a hankerin' ter jaw with some pals of kindred spriit. We all got a littl' a that pirate in us, wiether it be dust in the boots or salt in the lookers. Could be from the little hitch in the giddy-up that we had ta get past with them there bone-menders.

So you'all set sail for the high seas and i'll be two whoops and a holler away ta keep your backsides covered. We can share some tornado juice and tear squeezers when ya'll get back.

It be snowing in the high country and rainin' down below. Have a bust-up , ace high day!

Tear squeezers be them stories that make your eyes tearup. Most of us here done got only one eye that leaks anyhows. A few tall tales or them there poems would  sure put me on the right side of my left sided hoss.

Well, tarnation, the Good Ship PBW has gotten herself stuck in the sagebrush and prairie grass of the old Wild West.  She must be sufferin' from split personality and now fancies herself a prairie schooner, instead of a sea faring ship. Laz, Laz, what are we to do?  Are we to travel the ancient trails of the Wild West and have to sing western songs and chug rot gut whiskey, or are we to return to the blue waters, sea chanties and grog?  Laz, it's all up to you.

The good ship PBW has become a prairie schooner, sailing (for some reason) by the Double D Ranch.

ok, sing it with me folks!

*takes gulp of grog to get things going....*

1st Verse:

Oh, give me a home, where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day.

Chorus, ok, all together now!

Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the antelope play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day.......

Y'all do know that September 19 is Talk Like a Pirate Day doncha...

I was at school this morning and the poor teachers don't understand a thing the kids
are saying... lots of arghs thrown in

A pirate walks into a bar and the bartender says, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened, you look terrible!"
"What do you mean?" the pirate replies, "I'm fine."
The bartender says, "But what about that wooden leg? You didn't have that before."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in a battle at sea and a cannon ball hit my leg but the surgeon fixed me up, and I'm fine, really."
"Yeah," says the bartender, "But what about that hook? Last time I saw you, you had both hands."
"Well," says the pirate, "We were in another battle and we boarded the enemy ship. I was in a sword fight and my hand was cut off but the surgeon fixed me up with this hook, and I feel great, really."
"Oh," says the bartender, "What about that eye patch? Last time you were in here you had both eyes."
"Well," says the pirate, "One day when we were at sea, some birds were flying over the ship. I looked up, and one of them shat in my eye."
"So?" replied the bartender, "what happened? You couldn't have lost an eye just from some bird poop!"
"Well," says the pirate, "hey...It was my first day with the hook !"

Blimey, the wee little dogies be running along side the ship, Captain. Are we supposed ter be herding the little tykes, or are we supposed ter be fishin fer 'em?  I be gitten a bit cornfused as ter which lingo I be spoutin on this fine talk like a buckaneer/buckaroo day. ,

Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide! AAARRRGGGHH!

Laz sits on deck in amazement as the cursed cruise director, running around in circles trying to muster up a bon fire song, is just doing that, running around in circles. On ya girly!!!!  The good ship PBW seems to have been sailing on the desert sands and is now on a ranch facing some gun tottin' outlaws thinkin we be rustlin' their stock.

Will the Captain be able to steer the good ship PBW back onto the ocean seas? Has the parrot handed in her beak for a 6 gun? Will the good ship PBW be attacked by Geronimo?

Stay tuned

There was a link to the talk like a pirate day when looked at my gocomics/cathy today.    There is even a website for it.                    www.talklikeapirate.com           I am not sure why it was a day late though.
The good ship PBW can come visit us in the midwest now that she is prairie schooner!
