Cakes!!!!!!!!!  There you are!!!!!!!!!  Yes, you started something!!!!  Time to catch up.

I'm sure glad I take the train to work and live on a hill.  The train went over a freeway yesterday that was covered up to the top of the jersey barrier and closed.   It took hours for people in my area to get to and home from work.  The traffic area around me is a mess.  There are a lot of displaced people, and a hunter they were trying to evacuate got swept away in his truck up near the mountain and perished.  Personally, I think it was a partisan storm trying to keep us from getting to the voting poles!  Ha!!!  I vote by mail anyway, and sent my ballot out last week.

It's over and sunny now, and the real work of getting the water and mudslides cleaned up has begun.

Hey Cakes,

Ã‚ Gald to finally see ya here. Looks like you have lots of catch up reading to do, 101 pages worth.  This thread you started ended up becoming the wacky humor outlet for some of us. Thanks for starting it.

Cheryl,
Ã‚  If were going to try to go to San Diego in Han, we may have to make a sand man instead of a splenda man. But come on over, were suppose ta have a winter splenda man making contest at my place early '07 aren't we?  Don't know it the goodship can sail through the mountains to get here.

geesh, get struck down with the usual head crap for a coupla days and this thread is bigger than ben hur - King Kong eat ya heart out!
a bit late but 100 pages - woo hoo!, cakes ye be back and taylor - now lets ee - first of all, great that you are in this thread but before we help ya with ya job, ya gotto be contributing silly stuff to this here thread.

Now Taylor, apart from - you should do as much schooling and uni stuff as possible but if ya aint cut out for that or don't enjoy it, I have found the following process to be very helpful for others - sorry wenches and scalleys - some serious stuff now.

Now, you have to be really honest with yourself and write down everything under each heading (you can share with us nosey people if ya like)

1. What do I love doing
2. What am I really good at
3. What kinda life style do i want (indoor, office, outdoor)
4. Do I enjoy communicating with people
5. Am i a fun person
From the above, try and match as much as possible and then:

What would my ideal job be (winning lotto and retiring doesn't count - sorry)
What job am I cut out to do now.
What do I need to do to get to my ideal job - study, travel, etc

Try the above and let us know.

laz
p.s - wrinkly wenches tryin ta swim ta maui - while the scalleys are being interviewed by Italian TV - mmmmmm, keep swimmin' ya wicked wenches!
