Got To Meet Anissa and Chris Today!

Patti, Denise (whose husband Geoff had translab in early Dec. 2008) and I got to meet up with Anissa and her husband Chris today before she had to go in for all her preop stuff. It was awesome! We talked and talked and talked (hope we didn't scare you guys!) and talked some more. LOL I think she is as prepared as she ever will be!

She is just as nice in person as she is here on the forum. It was fun to see Patti again who helped me so much before my sugery in Nov. 2008, and nice to meet Denise in person after talking to her on the phone a few times. My five-year-old took photos but it will take me awhile to figure out how to post them, I'll do my best!

Good luck tomorrow Anissa! We'll all be thinking about you and sending thoughts and prayers your way! Hang in there Chris! And call any of us if you need anything, okay?!!

It was so GREAT to meet you guys!  Chris and I are so ready for this to be behind us and seeing you guys was such an inspiration.  Patty brought me a teddy bear that all the girls signed welcoming me to the AN Sisterhood, how sweet is that?

Nice, but tiny, picture. :)

If it is from a cell phone and started out that size, it won't help much to blow it up.

Great that you met some AN'ers in person.

What are you doing up so late anyway, Anissa? Isn't it past your bedtime?  :)

meeting other AN'ers... truly wonderful! I'm so glad the "UT" welcoming committee was there to meet Anissa and Chris...  :)
