BAHA Volume
« on: July 07, 2008, 07:29:46 am »
I'm curious to find out what volume level other BAHA wearers use since I'm in the "tweeking" phase.

I use max. vol. always. However, I do notice that it makes my voice reverberate.

Hi Catflower,

I have my Intenso set at between 2-3. I get a bunch of squealing all the way up plus I hear myself like Sam.

Linda -

I always use 3 (the loudest on the Divino), but sometimes I find it's a little too loud.

I guess I could turn it down, but I tend to just leave it alone.  Just lazy, I guess  ;)

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

When I turn mine up to 2 or 3 I get what sounds like a lot of static.  Kind of like your between radio stations.  No squeeling, just static.

Linda -

you might want to check with your doctor or the audiologist who gave you the processor.

My audiologist adjusted some setting on my Divino before she gave it to me.  Perhaps there is something on the Intenso that your audiologist could adjust that would solve the static problem.

Just a thought,
