T3 today need blessings

Hi friends, today i am undergoing my t3 for facial re animation at six pm. Need all your support and blessings. Will update you once the surgery is over.         Cheers praba

Blessing to you and may you awaken with peace.  Blessing to your surgeons, anesthesiologist and nurses as they focus on the task at hand with the utmost of skill.  May your face shine with happiness afterwards!  Look forward to hearing from you when it's all over.

Praba:  You are in my thoughts & prayers.  Remember, the 1st week is rough,  but you will LOVE the results - it is all worth it ! !

Diagnosed 7/06: AN - right side: 1.3cm in transverse dimension, 6mm in AP dimension, and 6mm in cephalocaudal dimension.
GK 12/06- Wake Forest Univ Baptist Med Ctr
MRI 5/07- Some necrosis;  Now SSD
MRI 12/08- AN size has reduced 50%
MRI 12/11- AN stable (unchanged from 12/08)
Next MRI: 12/16

My prayers and good wishes go with you today.  My your T3 surgery be completely successful and your recovery rapid.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

5 cm AN surgery, Shands Hospital, FL, Dr Albert Rhoton, 1988; VII-XII anastamosis for right-sided facial palsy 1989; diagnosed Feb 2008 w/ 1.8 cm recurrence; drs McKenna & Martuza; surgery rescheduled for 6/24/08!

I just had this at the end of March - that 1st week is tough, but I am SOOOOOOOO happy now!  Stock up on the straws & get a baby toothbrush!! Good Luck - you will be in my prayers!

You have 2 great mentors here (Nancy and Kay) and they look GREAT!  I hope you get through that rough first week they mentioned and feel and look great in no time!

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

AN scraped off facial nerve & balance nerve removed
 MRI  follow up showed AN gone ... thank you God
Some facial paralysis- . SSD weeks after surgery.  Trans-Ear Nov.2007 ... it really helps !

wow! that was fast!  - at least for us  ;)

It sounds like things are going really well.  I hope that continues.

Please keep us updated on your progress.  I find the results of this surgery fascinating and it's great for others who might be candidates for a T3 surgery to learn more information on this forum.
