Phyl on official (short term) Moderating hiatus
« on: May 21, 2008, 12:44:46 pm »
Hi all,

well, now that we have fresh bodies here to help with moderating the website, I'm taking a small breather to take care of a few things I need to focus.  So, effective immediately, the "guys" will be keeping an eye on things.... now, I'll be lurking... you can count on that... and I'm not passing my whip onto anyone and will remain in my possession..... but, have fun, don't blow up the house, no wild parties, don't forget to take out the trash on garbage day... don't eat us out of house and home... and for pete sakes, don't run up the phone bill while I'm away!

If you need to reach me, just PM me here.... I will get notification that you need to talk to me.

with all that said, adios for now.... but, I'll be watching....... ;)

Ciao! cheers!

Phyl:

Enjoy your hiatus  We'll be good...you can trust us...honest.  No need to lurk....really.  Nothing to see here.    Nope, nothing at all.  ;D  Have fun!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Aw, Phyl.. I hope it wasn't something we said...well, it probably was something Jan said...you know she loves to poke fun at you!

I guess we can TRY to behave.  And we'll try to keep those moderators in line.

Enjoy your break and hurry back!

Phyl,

I also hope that you are planning on something fun for your "break" and not just work!  And yes, Mom, we'll be good.  But, you know, Dad's always spoil the kids and lets 'em eat pizza in the living room while watching sports and stuff.  Steve you bring the pepperoni, and Jim, I'll have the Veggie supreme, and the Crew can bring the beer.  Shhhhh, don't tell Mom.

P.S.   Lurk on over to the Good Morning thread, 'cause I got Phyl and the Moderators a song to sing at the symposium.  tee hee

Joe,

Yes, and it is dangerous as you try to keep others in line who have different opinions.

Phyl,
You will be missed.

Don’t worry about us we also have Sunny Disposition Steve and Eloquently Written Jim Scott to keep is all positive and productive. Joef does not really have a whip- it is just a fishing rod with a lure on the end- that hangs over his kayak.

Have a wonderful break… we’ll miss you and your hot buttered popcorn.
