Mary -

thanks for the play by play.  It sounds like you did mahvelously yesterday  ;)

Very cool pictures  8) but I have to ask.  How many strange looks did you get from passersby while you were posing for the camera?

When I exited the hospital after my BAHA surgery with my wonderful "hat" I got the strangest looks  :D

Oh, and did you thank Amanda for going with the color scheme?  Her red scrubs fit the theme quite well.

Jan, Phyl and Kay.... Thank you for the comments. I DID get some looks. My poor husband and what I put him through!!!!! He would never have chosen to do the pirate picture on a busy intersection in downtown Phoenix. However, we have been together 40 years so he is used to my antics. I felt like having some fun. After having CK, nothing could phase me!

Big hugs,

Mary

Postie-Toasty-Wenchy-Mary,

My bosses currently have no clue why I am giggling my butt off right now! and they think I'm doing rep commission calculations!

That is TOO darn funny! :)

Ok, I'm outta here... truly.

LOVE IT, Mary!  And you sound like you're doing great!  So glad!

Boy, if and when I finally treat my AN, I will really be under pressure to come up w/ a great bonnet...

Thank you, Cindy!

If you have any questions about my experience with cyberknife, let me know. I do have a serious side, too. :D

Best luck in your decision whether it be watch and wait or one of the treatments. I will cheer you on with any choice you make.

Big hug to you!

Mary -

You're making this bonnet competition really hard - so many great entries to choose from  :D

I just love your sense of humor and the fact that Weldon went along with you.   If you don't have humor, what do you have?

Boy, I agree with that statement!!!!!!

Humor has been a mainstay for us in our most difficult times.

I am 3/4 through with the book we are reading in the AN book club, so I have something to keep me out of too much trouble. DARN, no antics today.  ;D

Mary -

aren't you just loving the book?  I had the unexpected opportunity to find time to finish it this weekend - the kids found a way to entertain themselves for a little while  :)

I found the end very, very interesting.  Can't wait for the discussion to start.

As they say at Staples, "That was easy."

I like the bonnet shot, but I really like the full regalia pirate shot in front of the building. The socks are especially delightful. Are those official pirate shoes?  ;D

Congratulations on getting it done, I am glad it went so well, and I am very happy for you.
