With partial facial (and lips) numbness, can a person feel only half "a kiss" as this progresses?

palace kissing used to be a favorite past time of mine  LOL  Now I shy away from it as I can't really tell what I'm doing or feel what I'm doing.  I don't feel the whole left side of my lips, teeth, tongue and face.  I do not mind going to the dentist as I can't feel what they are doing on the left side..gotta take the good with the bad I guess  LOL

Since my surgery, my lips don't quite pucker and are still numb, and I was initally worried that kissing would be different. I was awkward at first, but it's all good now  ;) :-*  Practice makes perfect

The Left side of my face was completely paralyzed for about a month, But I still felt touch. Luckily I have about 60% movement back, and 2 weeks ago my eye started closing,,,,YEA!.,,, It still doesn’t tear, but at least it closes. I did feel touch, I think that nerve 5 controls feeling, and 7 controls muscle control, Not sure about 5 though. In ending, I Felt the kiss, I just couldn’t Kiss back very well. But they were still nice.
