balance,tinnitus and Lipoflavinoid
« on: October 07, 2014, 03:05:46 am »
Anyone else used Lipoflavinoid Plus for balance improvement and did it do anything for tinnitus improvement?  I got a phone consult from House Clinic and the MD recommended balance exercises and Lipoflavinoid with B vitamins. It would be GREAT if it did something for this INCESSANT noise in my ear.  :)

It's a dietary supplement and, as such, comes with a lot of hype but no conclusive evidence.

However, if you read the customer reviews on Amazon you'll find that lots of buyers have some good results.

No guarantees. You'll have to judge for yourself.

I would expect that many of us would be happy to learn that it's worked for you and then give it a try ourselves - good luck!  :)

I tried it for about three months but found it didn't seem to help.  I also tried Arches Tinnitus, again for a few months, no help.  I am now taking Curcurmin on the advice of a fellow patient, and so far, so good!  It is available through Amazon under several brand names.  I am using Dr. Danielle formula.  Just be sure to take it with some amount of fat to aid absorption.  Hope this helps.

I tried Lipoflavinoid last year but it didn't help, and I got a refund as they had a money back guarantee.  Do you know if the Curcurmin has a money back guarantee?

Also, how are you doing on it now?
(I know this is an old post-- but I felt compelled to respond as it was on my birthday!). Thank you.

It (maybe) helps a bit. Anything that reduces inflammation seems like a good thing to me. In my fantasy world the tumor also shrinks along with inflammation. Next MRI is May 18 and MD apt after that May 29-we will see! Good luck on the curcumin. I don't know if you can get your money back, though.

Curcurmin isn't marketed for tinnitus, so I doubt you can get your money refunded.  My ENT said my experience is "highly anecdotal", which I believe is doctor-speak for "coincidental".  I continue to take it because it does seem to calm my tinnitus, but the anti-inflammatory effect helps my sinus, as well.

If it works for you that is great. They don't know everything!
