Suggestions for tinnitus/pressure changes with air travel?
« on: April 07, 2013, 01:43:21 pm »
Even though my ears have "cleared", It seems I always get increased tinnitus & ear pressure for several days after air travel-I've tried decongestants & antihistamines & can't really say that anything really helped. Now that I know I have this AN , I'm really nervous about my upcoming flight...any  suggestions from anyone who has a working strategy? Thanks

AMTRAK.

Just kidding.

My only ear issue with flying has always been some ear pressure on landing but it goes away pretty quick.

My AN was DX April 2012 and I flew round trip from Phoenix to Seattle in June and then from Phoenix to NY in July. No change in the ear pressure thing.

It's possible that your reaction won't be any worse due to the AN.

Think positive.
