Cros hearing devices
« on: July 11, 2012, 02:53:26 pm »
Hello all, just an update, I am now 6 days into wearing my new CROS hearing devices and i must say that i was not fully aware of how muted my hearing had become. I was left SSD and had decided that I could just deal with it. But I decided to see if in fact i was missing anything by trying the CROS hearing devices. And i was astonished at how rich and clear everything became when they were placed on my ears. I do feel truly blessed!
Diagnosed 4/19/11 An 1.5x1.9x2.0
Surgery 8/23/11, Dr Fukushima.
Total tumor removed. SSD.
Second surgery 11/11/11 for abscess

I'm gona work like I don't need the money
I'm gona laugh like I'm not afraid to cry
I'm gona dance like nobody's watchin'
I'm gona love while I still have the time!

Are CROS expensive? Are they covered by Medicare?
I am having surgery July 30, 2012, and will have SSD.
I was encouraged by your post. I am so happy you are doing so well.

Actually I am dong splendidly!! I go in next month for my 1 year anniversary MRI, fingers crossed all is well. I have BCBS of NC Federal program. These devices were covered up to $1125.00 per ear. They cost $2300 so I am thrilled.!! Good luck on the 30th and look forward to seeing you on the other side!! The grass is greener!
