Thanks for the tip, Jo.

Haven't seen this trick yet.

Did you report it to one of the moderators?

JO ~

Thanks for posting the warning.  I'm unaware of this and haven't received such a pop up ad.  If you deleted it without 'opening' it, you should be O.K.  However, Joef's advice is sound.  Check for malware/virus.  Hopefully there won't be anything.  I apologize for using a cliché but: 'better safe than sorry'.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

What is a good malware option??  Or the spyware??   Anyone got any tips?   Seems like I have been getting more ads, etc.   Even though my pop up blocker is set pretty high and my full virus scan came up clean.   Hmmm

LOL!!
I got me a laptop just before my surgery and was thinking of a Mac.  Honestly though, I know NOTHING about them and didn't have the time & patience then to try to figure it out.       Mac have less hassles I take it? (with malware, etc)
