blurriness
« on: May 13, 2010, 06:06:47 pm »
hi all!  i just started to have another new symptom. first, let me say that i had g.k. 2 yrs. ago and just had an mri.  the tumor hasn't grown in 6 months so that's encouraging. i noticed for a few days now, once in a while when i bend over, i have blurriness in the eye on the side  that the an is on. it's only momentary but iwas wondering if anyone has heard of this. i read online it could be intracranial pressure, but if my tumor is the same size why is it happening now? could it be related to sinus pressure or anything else? well, thnks for your input. i always seem to have a new side effect creeping up. will it never end?!  probably not, huh? ok...thanks again, looking forward to your comments ;)

hi Madison:  anytime we bend over, do a headstand, etc, we're increasing our intracranial pressure - not an amount that will kill us,  it's just a normal reaction.  Like when we're lying down our blood pressure is higher than when taken standing up.  As far as the blurriness,  I don't know.  I would check with your ophthalmologist about this., heshe will probably have the medical answer.
Glad to hear 'no growth' !  Always good thoughts,  Nancy
