For "the girls"--phone tree
« on: March 26, 2006, 02:13:53 pm »
This is for any girls out there...sorry Laz, not to exclude you, but...you know how us girls like our "girl talk."

Would anyone be interested in a phone tree?  I had a lovely chat with gennysmom today, and in my recovery it is so helpful to talk sometimes.  I've also been in touch with Cheryl and Rory, and really enjoy the one-on-one.  Some days I'm just too tired or lacking energy to write.  I love the cruisin threads, but man, I can't compete with you natural born storyteller/writers out there--we have some prizewinners in the group!

Maybe we could even set up a weekly group call--just a thought.

If anyone's interested, let me know.  I can collect the numbers, but probably wouldn't be the one to set up a conference call--not that savvy.  My only restriction is hours--I have a Verizon cell and free minutes are after 9 pm and weekends.

Thanks to everyone for being on this forum.

Thanks Nan, twas lovely, wasn't it.  So was the Friday night 4 way.  As much as I love being here on the boards and finding out info, it was very nice to "connect" with Nan, Phyl, Deb, and Batty, and put a voice to the words and photos that are out there.   Made us even more real.  Nan...you have my numbers and feel free to share them.  You take care, and can't wait to see ya when you get back from MN!   :D

Count me in... I can do conference calls on my mobile phones (I figured out how to do one of the phones, need to confirm the set up on the other).  I have Verizon on one mobile, so anyone in "Friends/Family"?  Let me know. :)

Nan, I'm in and would LOVE to say hi! :)

Nan,

I would love to be included, although I am not sure how the conference call thing works?  I'll send you my contact numbers.

Yeaaaaa-Capt Deb is here, too.

Sorry, I forgot, does Friday night work better for everyone, versus Wednesday?  We may have to do a threesome and foursome since we now have 7--tee hee.

Okay, so let's make it Friday night--is 7 pm PST too late?  If so, let's make it 6.

7pm PST is 10pm EST.... unless Mel Gibson or Brad Pitt show up, I'm game... I need to know who I need to get on my cellphones for part of the connection.. and if any of you have Verizon on your mobile, even better!

HEY!  CB! Want us to call you? It will be 4am for you!  I could do it, ya know? :)  :-*

oh, come on, my bloke! don't you want to get all chatty with us Friday night?  Remind me to buy you a new phone next trip over... it needs to be next to the bed (you know, in case I have an emergency!) and not on the living room wall!

Denise, if you want and are comfortable, you can email it to me. I will keep a list of all numbers.

Can anyone else do 3-way calls from their mobile phones?  I have 2 phones that can, so I can take a few folks on my phones... anyone else?
