My 1st weight implant I was put into a 'twilight' sleep.
This last one I was wide awake with only injections in the area to numb it (& boy did they hurt before I got numb !).
The whole time the surgeon was talking with his students explaining everything he was doing (with my approval of course).
I really didn't mind being awake,  preferred it actually, less down time.

Glad to hear all is well Doc,
always good thoughts,  Nancy

K -

The contacts were a solid white, I didn't know they were in and thought the overhead lights were really bright and that was why I couldn't see...it was kinda strange...but absolutely painless...didn't hurt at all when they took them out either...I was awake for that.

Take Care!

Left-Translab July '09. Cyberknife Jan 2010. In Apr 2017, four more tumors found; three in the brain and one, 7cm long, on my spinal cord; it was surgically removed. It was cancerous, and so are the others. I've been receiving Chemo since June '18, and I'm still in treatment.
