Hello Phyl and everyone!

Just saw our Katie in my ANA newsletter (Philly symposium)--what a great smile that gal has!!!

And to update y'all--I started my FSR at Mass Gen on Sept 10--tomorrow is the end of my third week, so 3 more weeks to go--so far so good!! (I'm only half-baked, but then I guess I was before anyway!!)

I'm salivating just thinking about the brunch (gee, hope it's not the radiation causing my drooling--nawh, can't be--it's definitely thoughts of all that GOOD food.).. And smiling my slightly lop-sided smile thinking aobut seeing you all again!!

THRILLED to hear you are hanging tough! Maybe one day next week, after your treatment... not sure if you drive by this area (up I-93), let me know... I'll buy the coffee and give healing huggles!  Counting you in for Gil and his OMG-amazing dumplin's!  BTW, our Katie did look simply fab in the pics!  :)

Also heard from Trish, who runs the official ANA Metro Boston Support Group.  She will be joining us as well. She is trying to log on to the boards here but is having computer issues.... so, adding Trish to the list as well.  She also is planning a terrific support meeting in November out in Waltham.  I know Elaine (elliemae) and Katie have met her at the last meeting and am thrilled she'll be joining us at the brunch.

Hi Phyl--I take the train into North Station every day and then walk (nice less than 10 minute walk) to Mass General, have my treatment, then take the train back to Leominster and hop in my car and drive to work to Worcester... I do so appreciate the offer to get together but guess I'll have to wait to see you Nov 11... By the way, how are you honeymooners?!?!?

GEESH - once again just missed you guys by two weeks - the snowbirds are flying south on October 27th - hopefully after hubby has a good checkup at the Beth Israel on the 22nd.  It is getting a little chilly for us up here but nothing compared to what's coming  :o

9th cranial nerve schwannoma - like an acoustic neuroma on another nerve. Have recently been told it could be acoustic neuroma. Only 7 mm of growth in 18 years. With no symptoms. Continuing W&W
