After procedure pain?
« on: March 06, 2006, 07:24:47 pm »
My mother was diagnosed with an AN.  She had the cyberknife procedure last fall.  In the last three months she's developed pain in the ear, and side of her face that the AN was on.  A new MRI shows a hole where the AN was, but nothing else.  She was lucky, there was no additional hearing loss with, or since the procedure.  She wanted me to ask if anyone else has experienced pain that began after the procedure but not immediately following.  Her regular doctor can't find a cause for the pain.

Thanks,
Kelly Piatt

Hi Kelly,

I'm sorry to hear that this is going on with your mom.  I don't have a reply for you but will lurk this thread to see if anyone else comes up with an answer.

Another potential for you. There is a Cyberknife Support site that the dr's monitor (those that perform CK and patients that have gone through it). You may want to try posing it there as well.  Just a thought.
