This is enough adventure already!  Quit it!  Don't make us come down there!!

Get better soon!

Last night was really rough, by far worse than AN surgery pain-wise--I lost track of how many morphine shots I had. No sleep at all and every time I moved was like a lightning bolt in my chest. Good news is that the garden hose they inserted into my lung is working and the lung is re-inflating.  There's a chance I could go home tomorrow evening--they are to turn off the suction on the chest tube to see if the lung stays inflated or collapses again. What an ordeal for a simple outpatient procedure!

Hanging tough!

Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes, folks.

Good Grief, I hope the hospital pays for all of this, since it was THEIR fault!!   :o :o

You keep your sense of humor in the face of pain and uncomfortable situations, and girl....you get a lot of gold stars for that.

Hugs :-* :-*

Donnalynn,

The hose-puller is a thorasic surgeon and I know him from a consult several years ago for another lung issue.  He is a very nice man and very thorough.  Thanks for your prayers--i can feel them all the way down here!

Deb ~

Boy, the fun never ends!  I'm so sorry that you've had to endure all this pain and worry but my prayers and those of many others are with you.  I'm hoping - right along with you and everyone else - that this latest 'simple outpatient procedure' mishap can be over soon and you can resume your Captain's duties.  Thanks for your dedication to all of us and may you be virtually pain-free from this point on.

Well, at least you had some good news about the cyst.   At least that's something:)
