can I say jealous ... you look great ... and the water does too ... you need to board a bigger boat to
hold all us stowaways ....
haven't been on any sea type waters in years as in 25 or so ... haven't been on the rivers in maybe
12 years ... my sons grew up and abandoned me
... my landlubber husband almost drowned when he was
8 and is scared of a filled bath tub...he has told the girls horror stories of water and other than our waist high
creek and the pool they don't want to get near the any big water ...then they go chasing and herding
1000 pound cows on foot like no ones business ...
I am gonna have to hire someone to get in a canoe and float down the Elk ... I had a very interesting good/bad
encounter with the Elk River almost 23 years ago and it became my friend ... I find water sooths me in ways
nothing else does ...
No sure how I would do on a boat... walking along the lake in Centennial park the water rippling made me
dizzy and headachy... I go sit by the river and watch it go by but canoing it alone is not a good idea but I
think about it ...
the river changes regularly... gonna put that on my list of things to conquer this summer... boat ride... may
end up just paddle boating at the state park but it would be a start ... may coerce my out of work more than
working son to go in case my legs give out ...
