physical therapy???
« on: November 27, 2008, 07:56:04 am »
I was thinking of starting some PT before surgery..that way my muscles would be accustom to doing them and I wonder if that would help after surgery???? If so maybe some of you can list your PT so I can print out and start practicing.

I have never done PT but getting out and walking outside(which can be tricky this time of year in some areas) and going in a mall and big store.     It will bother you at first but keep at it.    It all gets better in time.                            Cheryl R

Jo,
I don't know how much PT will help before surgery, but I posted all the execiises I've been doing under AN Issues in the "ready to give up" thread if you want to try them.  I'm sure you'd find them helpful post-op.
