What an amazing story!
I am at work but this story makes me want to tell everyone I know right now, so I'm gonna start with posting it!
My best friend at work goes to church with a man named Virgil. His son is 40 and his name is Mason. Without any forwarning, Mason went into a coma one week ago and they found out that he had a bleeding mass in his brain, possibly due to an anurism. Mason has two young children. Yesterday was the day that the doctors were going to pull the plug.
Here is when I start to cry...
Masons pastor and a few family pastors were surrounding him at his bedside and praying, and to make a long story short; one of the pastors started reciting a few scriptures that were favorites of Mason. All of a sudden tears started running down Masons face (when before he wasn't responsive at all) and his eyelids started fluttering!!!!!
The doctors rushed in and started running tests and found out that he was coming out of his coma. after an entire week! and on the day that they were going to pull the plug!!
Guys and Gals, i know that i don't have an AN so i can't even imagine what you all deal with each and every day, before and after recovery. but i do know that this story has given me hope, and it makes me realize that even though having an AN is no walk in the park, it is so much better than what it could be. And even though this man had the statistics fighting against him, he overcame. He beat the odds! As soon as I get home from work I look forward to hugging my mom and telling her this story of the amazing way that God works.
I hope this uplifts you like it did me
