announcement!!

guess what? my mama is joining the forum!! her username is "Kathy M" (i tried to talk her into choosing something cooler but...well ya know)

so she has already read all of my posts and all of your responses, and i can't wait for her to become part of this outstanding family!

you will be hearing from her soon, just wanted to give you all a heads up!

Left ear 40% hearing loss 8/07.
1.5 CM Translab Rt ear.

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

Welcome aboard, Kathy.  If I can do anything to help, don't hesitate to PM me.  There are lots of people on the ANA WTT (willing to talk) list.. Or, you can just post questions, concerns, or just jump in and do research yourself.  Or, you can join the fun on the PBW in the "AN Community" section (there's a LONG thread called "Good Morning").  We're glad you've decided to join!
