waiting for results of second MRI scan

Hi everybody - just want to say hello from Denmark - I had my second MRI scan last Thursday, October 2nd. Needless to say, I'm anxious to get the results. My symtoms haven't changed much since I got my diagnosis in January - so I'm hanging in there!
I want to  say thank you to all of you who write just amazing posts - including all the great links to everything that's nice in your lives! I feel very incompetent not even getting a pic on my profile figured after 10 months on the board!
I'll let everyone know about the results - I have a question - is the AN calendar 'official' - ANA Forum stuff, or did somebody post it?

The AN Calendar is not 'official' but posted by forum members - and it's free.

Thanks for the kind words and here's hoping your MRI results are good (for you) and come through soon.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

what a coincidence!! I  had my last MRI on Oct 2 too!! I from Bulgaria, Europe so we are to some extent, neighbours! :D

How long do you have to wait for the results of the MRI scan? It always takes to my doctors several hours after my scanning to be ready with the images!

I am flying to Hannover, northern Germany, this Sunday morning - Oct 12 - to have another surgery (I hope this time for good) at the International Neuroscience Institute (INI)  Hannover with prof Samii.

How big is your AN according to the first images? Have you considered any treatment yet?

Good luck; I hope it shrinks but most likely it will show very small growth.  I have been watching steady growth for 2 years and now know it is time to quite waiting; I know it is time and believe you will know when to quite waiting.  In the meantime, study the options, go in with your eyes open.

My ENT doctor phoned me to tell the results - my AN now measures 13 x 4 x 4 - which means problaby no growth - just measurement uncertainties!
I'm thrilled with the news - I will get the details from the specialist in Copenhagen in a few weeks time. Thanks for your support, everyone!
Hruss won't be reading this for awhile, but I'm wishing him the best.

Congratulations on the good news regarding your MRI results!  :D  I hope your AN continues to hibernate and I'm glad we were able to support you during this trying time.

Incidentally, Hruss (Hrissy) is a 25-year-old woman from Bulgaria - and a very brave one, too.  :)
