Hi Debbi,

Your MRI is beautiful!!!!! Don't you love the fact Ethel is a goner? I am so glad that went well.

My MRI....hmmmmm.....I need to do that and I am dragging my feet. I am being TOTALLY opposite from pre-CK.
I have been such a dizzy dame at times, I really want to hear it is dying, but I know that takes time. I will promise you I will call and make the appointment so next time we post I can proudly say I was brave and called. November 2 will be my 5 month "anniversary" of Goldie being zapped.

Take care,

Mary 8)

Diagnosed March 24, 2008, 1.1cm, right side, "Goldie" - small but mighty!! :-(

CK June 2, 2008, BNI in PHX, Drs Daspit/Kresl, side effects, steroids helped. Getting "sea legs".
Apr 2012 - Still glad I chose CK

Good for you, Mary!!  Make sure to put your MRI date on the calendar when you get it - I want to be sure to send cheers your way on the appropriate day.

Andrea, you are SO right - no more Ethel was such a good thing to see.  You know, I named my tumor after Ethel Mertz in the old I Love Lucy show (which I know that Mary and I are old enough to remember... ahem).  I was looking for the most benign sounding name I could find.  Thinking about having an Ethel in my head wasn't as scary as, for example, a Cruella or a Fang...

Hi Debbi,
I always wondered why you named your AN Ethel -- now I know.  Very interesting... and funny! ;D

LOL Debbi. I named mine Thing. Just an it, nothing fun. I did laugh reading on your blog about your "Ethel-ectomy" and I'm quite excited about my "Thing-ectomy" even though yours has a better ring to it.  ;D  Yeah, who knew belly fat in the skull could make you this excited? LOL!
