BAHA surgery scheduled

Just wanted to share that I finally scheduled my BAHA surgery this morning.

I've been trying to do so for the last week, but the doc's office had a delay in scheduling it.  The rep from Cochlear that has the drill they need for my surgery wasn't responding to their phone calls.  You know, with me, it's always something  ;D

Anyway, surgery is scheduled for March 4th.  Can't wait!!!!

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

K  It's your birthday????  I think I figured that out.  Have a really fun one.  And if it isn't your birthday, have a good day anyway. But it sounds like a birthday.  Happy Birthday!!!!

I'm thinking you're right - but it's on 3/4.

I'll take wishes for a good day any time I can get them, but yes, my b-day is is March -- the same day as Jan's BAHA.

Good news Jan!  The insurance company is the biggest hurdle!

And when you're done, you can go home and celebrate with cake for K's birthday!  That's my nephew's birthday too, so maybe I should have 2 cakes...just to be sure..can't have too much cake..

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

The insurance usually is the biggest hurdle.
But as much as I curse my insurance company, I am extremely thankful that they are covering not only the surgery but the device also.
I can't ask for more than that.

Now, about the cake.  Can mine be chocolate???
