Neal, did Dr. Kutz really do your incision and stitches??  I guess he(or she) was destined for that job, huh?

I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but I just got a laugh out of seeing that.

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

When they told me it was a ten week recovery time, I was naiive enough to think that meant I would be completely back to normal by then!

Life is good though, so many people live with much worse. I'm grateful. It's hard to feel gratitude and feel sorry for myself at the same time.
