9 months since CK
« on: May 03, 2007, 09:19:04 pm »
Hi everyone,

Got my 2nd MRI in August scheduled today.  Wow!!  Time really flies with AN.  Can't believe it's already 9 months since CK.  I am doing fine.  The nerve pain is now all gone.  Little numbness of the AN side of the face.  Then just the Big "T" - EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE......  That's about it.

Hope my friends on this board are all doing well or still thinking positively.  Truly, having an AN is not the end of the world.  Life is good if we want to make it.

Send me a postcard from your next overseas journey and sending you all huggles and fantastic wishes for continued wellness.

Howdy everyone!!  Sorry about not being on the board lately...  Really missed you guys.   :(  Just been so busy with everything else.  Having a 9-year old only child can totally consume you!?#(&%)  Someone please tell me teenagers are worse...   ::) ::)  Just kidding!!  ;)

Anywhoooo..  Just came back from another biz trip...  Get this, I had to fly to Dubai from Mumbai (Bombay) to get to Hong Kong.  Not really enviable to fly so many hours just for a 36 hours on the ground!  Yikes!!! >:(

I am hangin' in here however.  Still have some numbness/tingling once a while.  Big EEEEEEEEEEEE.  Not too bad...

How are you Melinda?  Phyl?  Mark?  BevM? and others?

Hello Mary and all,

I just got back my MRI results (9 months)...this is what the notes are...my doc hasn't seen the results yet.  I'm not sure it sounds good...

"Impression:  Persistent enhancing left cp angle mass is stable to slightly progressive as compared to the 5/31/06 exam, presently 2.3x1.9x1.6 cm in size.

Possibilities to include acoustic schwannoma versus meningioma.  Consider ct evaluation ifthis has not been prior performed.  If this demonstaretes higher attenuation on ct, meningioma would be considered more likely."

Any ideas on what this means?  I think I'll try to post it to Medberry on CK board too.

Hi Melinda,

Did you get the doctor's report yet?  The suspense is killing me.  Althought I know you will be fine... ;)
