Having a different weight put in
« on: March 08, 2007, 06:47:41 pm »
How many of you have had your weight taken out for good?  How did you know you were ready to have it out?  Has anybody had a lighter weight put in, mine is so heavy my eye won't open all the way.  I am goint to see if a lighter one will work better.  Any ideas?  Karen

Hi Karen:  I just had my gold weight removed (I had a reaction), but it's not for good (can't help you there).
I'll have a platinum weight put in in about 8 weeks.

I see you had the nerve graft done in 2004 - did it reverse the facial paralysis ?
I'm thinking if so, you probably don't need a weight anymore.
I was told if the facial paralysis ever goes away, I wouldn't need the weight.
