I have been given a referral but have yet to connect with that provider.
Would like info if anyone has been treated in the last couple of years in Seattle. Referral was choice between Dr Backhous and Dr Sachin Gupta. I think I would prefer the UW for a variety of reasons. I am a retired radiology tech so somewhat savy of the medical systems. I live on the Olympic Peninsula so even Seattle is difficult to access.

Hi suelong, and welcome to our ANA Forums!

Thank you for posting.

One of the benefits of the forums is finding information from others who have posted previously.  This is my suggestion to you:

Go to the Home page (what I'm about to share does not work from the page you are currently on).  Once you click on <Home>, find the search field on the right side, and type in "Seattle" and then press <Enter>.  When I did it, there were 333 other posts about Seattle on these forums.  Not every one of them is relevant, but many posted about their experience with Acoustic Neuroma specialists in the Seattle area.  That may or may not be beneficial to you.

I wish you well on your journey!

Hi -
Curious where you landed.   I live in the Issaquah area. I did meet with Dr Gupta first at Swedish where I was diagnosed and Dr Ferriera a UW where I currently have a surgery scheduled.  I just did a free consult with UCSD with Dr Friedman this morning as well.

Thanks
Amy
