693 days since my initial diagnosis...there is good news
« on: January 24, 2020, 12:01:43 pm »
The doctor looked at my follow-up MRI from last week and said the AN is noticeably smaller and I can now go 2 years without a followup MRI.  :D

(That is good because I really don't like head MRIs... if it was a knee or ankle, I wouldn't care)  ::)

By the way, it can take a long time to outrun the headaches and fatigue, but eventually you will prevail over those issues.

March 1, 2018 - Hearing loss left side, acute vertigo
March 2, 2018 - MRI show 13 x 7 mm AN (probably growing)
May 2018 - ENT/audiologist indicate 100% hearing loss on left side is permanent
June 29, 2018 -  GK at Wake Forest in NC
Dec.2018 -  MRI shows zero growth
Jan.2020 MRI shows tumor shrinking

Excellent News Buzneg. Congrats! I know you had your post- GK issues and I am so happy to hear they were temporary and you now have a shrinking tumor.

You have been very supportive from afar and I certainly appreciated that moral support when I was feeling crappy.   :)  Thanks again.
