Help
« on: November 21, 2006, 10:17:00 am »
I have an 89 year old woman living with me, who was recently diagnosed with a 2cm tumor.  It makes her fall, but she is also goofy.  This morning her room is tilted, we have taken her other cats, Psychotic stuff.  Is this a symptom?

Thanks,

Tinka

I'm afraid that I do not fully understand your post. I assume that you are implying that the elderly lady is suffering from some form of mental impairment and that you are querying whether the tumour (which I also assume has been diagnosed as an acoustic neuroma?) is fundamental to her present mental state? If that is the situation, then be assured that there is absolutely no correlation.
Residing UK. In 'watch & wait' since diagnosis in March 2002 with right side AN. Initially sized at 2.5cm and now self reduced to 1.3cm.
All symptoms have abated except impaired hearing on affected side which is not a problem for me.
