Frequency of MRI's 9 plus years after Radiosurgery
« on: January 23, 2018, 03:10:37 pm »
Hello All

I was 9 years post CK last Fall and have just scheduled my MRI recommended for the end of last year.  Just wondering how many continue to do them at this point past RS and how many decide not to.  Also wondering about how long you were advised to continue and does this vary by MD? Thanks in advance.

I had gamma with Dr Lunsford last October. He said I'll have my first MRI at 6 months, then 12, then 24, and continue doubling unless there's a new development.

I had surgery in 2004 and had yearly MRI's for 5 yrs, then every other year for awhile, then they dwindled. I had one ordered last year for different reasons and my regrowth was discovered.
