intense fascia pain
« on: August 20, 2016, 10:57:30 am »
My wife had a suboccipitial craniectomy surgery for a AN 2.8 tumor 9 years ago and is still having intense fascia pain.  Different meds have not helped and we are inquiring if anybody else has similar issues and or suggestions on any treatments that have helped other individuals.  She's at her "wits end".

Thank you, Tom

She maybe suffering from trigeminal neuralgia.
This could be as a result of the surgery.
I believe if meds don't work surgery or radiation maybe a solution.
Worth investigating
10x5x5mm AN
Sudden Partial hearing loss 5/28/10
Diagnosed 7/4/10
CK 7/27/10
2/21/11 Swelling 13x6x7mm
10/16/11 Hearing returned, balance improved. Feel totally back to normal most days
3/1/12 Sudden Hearing loss, steroids, hearing back.
9/16/13 Life is just like before my AN. ALL Good!

Thank you PaulW for the reply.  Yes we know she has Trigeminal neuralgia and our neurologist pretty much said there is nothing they can do.  Has anybody tried medical marijuna???  If not any other suggestions

Thanks, Tom
