Symptom correlation

Does anyone know if there is a correlation between experiencing lots of symptoms and how intertwined the tumor is in the nerve... Seems to be no correlation between size and ssymptoms... But stories I keep reading seem to point to the higher percentage of symptoms you have earlier on the more intertwined it is
