Sumatriptan
« on: June 05, 2015, 03:50:49 am »
Hello, my An Friends.  Haven't being on for very long time. I found med. that works for my migraines.  It called Sumatriptan in 25MG doses. Usually One works for me, but can take 2 with follow up of two advil gels. The key is when you feel migraine coming on take the Sumatriptan and two Advils if needed. I am 12 years post AN surgery. My migraines have gotten less intensive, but I still get them one or two month. The Sumatriptan works for me and usually I don't get bed ridden and it knocks it out within 3 and 5 hours.  Hopefully it will continue to work for me. Right now I have no side effects from the Sumatriptan and the doctor says it not habit forming.  Just wanted to pass this on in case anybody hasn't tried it or need to try something else.

Please read the above see if your allergic or have any medical conditions that may effect you. Ask your doctor if your able to take it.  Again I haven't been on here for long time. This maybe old news, but  I am so happy I found something that working for me.

Believe it or not I felt one coming on this morning at 4am. Got up ate little something and took the Sumatriptan and it almost gone with no side effects. Less than two hours..  :D
