Why don't you set up a thread of your own for "Young people"

Yeah, I'm 31, but can I still call myself young?

I think what Taylor may be saying, is that at times, especially when there are many outcomes a person  can feel very much alone, even among a forum of people, (or a roomful of people)  The more complicated the situation, the more alone a person can feel.  It's so important to connect with someone that you can easily talk to, that shares the same interest and speaks the same language.

Taylor, there's always a special place on this forum for you, but we do understand your desire to connect with others within your age range.  Hopefully you'll have time enough for both sites

Hugs

I'm sure Taylor is thinking more along the lines of "Teens with AN's", or "Surviving AN's before the age of 25".  We already are classified as having a "rare disease", and it's much more rare with the people under the age of 30, so I think that's nice that Taylor wants to start something more specific for this age group.

Let me assure you all....
The young people here have contacted each other.  They have already discussed the issues they have with each other. They contact each other by IM.  I told Chris about them and I know that he has already talked to both Taylor and Chelsea .  There are a few others out there too that he talks about. They still need us too.  No matter what they say .

If Taylor or Chelsea would just post a new topic and a link to direct other teens to their spot(s), new visitors would have the info.  This thread could vanish to allow for continuity.

Hi

Glad to know the kids have each other.  Maybe one of them could write to the ANA and have them put something into that monthly newsletter.  Maybe one of their staff would write an article about these kids and what they went through this year.  Maybe that would do something.  It's a thought.
